At 18 years old, Laney Blair has already made her mark as an award-winning filmmaker and digital storyteller. When attending Harrison School for the Arts, Laney created short films featured at festivals nationwide, garnering Best Film and Editing recognitions. She currently works as a film editor for the New Jersey Center for Teaching and Learning, and is the founder/director of the #IAmMyBeautiful body positivity social media campaign. Laney is a confident public speaker, presenting workshops and sessions on student filmmaking, screenwriting, and memes at ISTE 2014 and 2017 and the 2016 and 2017 international Student Technology Conferences. With her unique student experience, Laney brings a compelling perspective to teaching and learning with media.
