Richard Bravo
Southern California Edison (SCE)
Richard J. Bravo (SMIEEE) is a senior engineer with Southern California Edison’s Advanced Technology group. Bravo has worked on various projects in distribution system, including the upgrade of motor control centers for oil exploration, control systems upgrades for pipelines, SCE’s Delayed Voltage Recovery project, SCE satellite communications, dynamic load performance, SCE’s solar PV inverter generation performance in the distribution system, and solar PV standards. Bravo has provided technical support to California Rule 21 Smart Inverter Working Group. Bravo earned his master’s and Bachelor of Science degrees in electrical engineering from California State University at Long Beach. He earned a Power Systems Sequential Program certificate from the University of California at Los Angeles and holds a professional engineer
