David Nelson, M.S., is a Vice President at Truven Health Analytics.  He is responsible for Government strategy and market planning.   Mr. Nelson works with state and federal management teams, government agencies, partners, and industry leaders.  Mr. Nelson also focuses on Truven Health’s program integrity strategy.  Truven Health works with 30 state Medicaid agencies and all federal healthcare agencies, including extensive work with CMS program integrity contracts.  Prior to joining Truven Health Analytics, Mr. Nelson held leadership positions with The Advisory Board Company, Gemini Consulting, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and Henry Ford Health System.  Mr. Nelson received an M.S. from Harvard University and a B.A. from Michigan State University.
