Michael D. Gooch, DNP, APRN, CCP, ACNP, FNP, ENP, CFRN, CTRN, CEN, TCRN, NRP, has over 25 years of emergency and transport medicine experience. He is an Emergency-Flight Nurse Practitioner with Vanderbilt University Medical Center's LifeFlight in Nashville, TN. He’s also faculty with Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia. Michael is a nationally recognized speaker and published author regarding varied emergency and transport medicine topics. He serves as a column editor for the Advanced Emergency Nursing Journal.
