Echo Hawk Consulting
Crystal Echo Hawk, a member of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma, has eighteen years of experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, grantmaking, communications and program development. Throughout her career, Crystal has been an advocate for the health, well-being and rights of Tribes and Native American children and families. Crystal served as the Executive Director for the Notah Begay III Foundation from 2009-2014, a nonprofit organization established by 4-time PGA TOUR Winner Notah Begay III, to fight the epidemics of childhood obesity and type 2 diabetes among Native children. Crystal helped grow the Foundation from a small grassroots organization to an organization that has reinvested more than $9.7 million to fight this health epidemic through grants, health and wellness programming, technical assistance and research benefitting more than 40 tribal communities in 13 states that impacted more than 24,000 Native children and families. Crystal founded Echo Hawk Consulting, in order to continue to follow her passion to empower tribes, Native nonprofits and businesses to improve the health, well-being and lives of Native American people. Echo Hawk Consulting offers expert consulting services in executive leadership, fundraising, philanthropic giving, community and business development, program design, strategic planning, public relations and marketing. As President & CEO of Echo Hawk Consulting, Crystal’s unique experience working with constituencies in the fields of philanthropy, health, youth development, social justice, corporate grantmaking, sports, celebrities, and Indian Country offer diverse contacts and potential collaborations for clients. Crystal received both her Masters Degree in Social and Political Thought and Bachelors Degree in European History from the University of Sussex at Falmer, England.
