Frank Maconachy in the President & CEO of Ramsay Highlander, Inc. Located in Gonzales California, Mr. Maconachys company custom builds ground-up harvesting machinery for the fresh produce & fresh fruit industry. Currently, his company is producing some of the most efficient self propelled mechanical harvesters in the market today. His company’s innovations have set new standards in field harvesting Machinery, such as a Mr. Maconachy’s patented water jet cutting harvester for Romaine Lettuce. Mr. Maconachy’s company was the first company bring to market the Auto Thinner, which has successfully deployed many of these machines with growers in the Salinas Valley and in the Santa Maria area. His company was the first to manufacture all stainless steel Harvesting Machines for use in harvesting Fresh Market Vegetables His Company’s all stainless Steel Mechanical Baby leaf machines are used worldwide as well as his other machines his company designs and manufactures. Frank has a BSME and a MS&E in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Maconachy holds many Patent awards from the U S Patent Office, with additional patents pending at this time. Mr. Maconachy is currently serving his fifth term on the Board of Directors for Western Growers Association, and serves on other industry Committees. Frank is also an Industrial advisor to the NREC (National Robotics Engineering Center) at Carnegie Melon University.
