Michael W. Clanton Associate CFO, Forest Service Mr. Clanton has over 30 years of federal service with USDA as an IT professional, working in both Information Technology infrastructure operations and financial systems operations. In his previous role of Associate CFO for Financial System, he implemented SAP for financial management at USDA, led the migration of USDA’s federal enterprise financial systems to the cloud, and built an enterprise Grants management system for USDA. While at the USDA National Finance Center, he led the restoration of NFC data center operations at the Philadelphia, PA disaster recovery site during Hurricane Katrina.
