Cristian Sylvestre, author of the book “Third Generation Safety: The Missing Piece” and Founder of HabitSafe, applies the latest neuroscience to help organisations improve safety performance. He has consulted with more than 100 workplaces in Australia and New Zealand with significant success. Cristian is currently working with a number of organisations developing and implementing “leading edge” programs focused at the individual level. He has had a long career in the safety field having held various senior safety and environmental roles in ICI, Shell and other organisations over a 20 year period where he has acquired a different way of thinking about safety. He holds a Chemical Engineering Degree with Honours and a Masters Degree. He was a certified lead auditor for over 10 years and was elected the Vice President of the NSW Branch of the Safety Institute of Australia in 2011.
