Brian Acors




Brian Acors has over 15 years of fire service experience and currently serves as HazMat specialist in the City of Richmond (VA) Fire and Emergency Services Department. He has been a member of the Richmond HAZMAT team for over 10 years and currently serves as an investigator. He has experience in team response, planning, enforcement and as a liaison with various state and federal agencies. He has assisted in planning and implementation of Joint Hazard Assessment Teams (JHAT) for events such as presidential visits, NASCAR races, UCI 2015, and various other regional events. Brian holds a masters degree in emergency services management and continues to aid in the development of courses to better prepare responders.
