Beth Murphy




Dr. Murphy is a clinical psychologist licensed in Washington State and retired firefighter/EMT that provides therapy for firefighters, police, veterans and other individuals who are struggling with a range of difficulties - from severe mental health issues to minor adjustment issues - due to expected and unexpected life changes. Her specialty is in trauma and traumatic stress as well as chronic illnesses, such as cancer. She works with diverse populations and uses her experience and knowledge as a firefighter to provide services for fire and police personnel and their families. Dr. Murphy provides psychological assessments for a variety of issues including pre-hire testing and forensic work for attorneys. She speaks nationally on issues related to stress; mental health and suicide; harassment and discrimination; cultural interactions; diversity; and harassment and stress issues in the workplace.
