Kelly Ameen




Kelly is a strategic manager within the programs and technology division of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC). She has been with the IAFC ten years and currently oversees all of the volunteer firefighter related programs. Through the IAFC’s Volunteer Workforce Solutions program, she leads several volunteer recruitment and retention initiatives on a national, state, and regional level. She is also the IAFC staff liaison to the Volunteer and Combination Officers Section (VCOS). Kelly received her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2012 and continues to complete the required training to maintain it. Over her time at the IAFC, she has worked on a variety of programs including hazmat, firefighter safety, and more. Volunteering is a passion of hers, and she is currently the vice chair of the board of directors for Langley Residential Support Services, a non-profit that helps people with development disabilities. She is also a coach for Special Olympics basketball.
