Greg spent much of his career working for the government of New York City, where he worked as a budget analyst in the City’s Office of Management and Budget, as an Acting Assistant Commissioner of the Agency for Child Development, as the Deputy Agency Chief Contracting Officer for the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and as the Director of IT Procurement for the NYC Department of Education. In addition he has worked as a private attorney, handling contracts and litigation in the private sector. Since coming to California, he has worked as the Director of IT Procurement for the San Diego Association of Governments and as the San Mateo County Director of Procurement and Contracts. Currently he is the Director of Contracts, Procurement, and Materials Management for the Southern California Railway Authority. Greg has negotiated and contracted with all of the major large technology and construction firms, as well as with numerous tiny not-for-profit and start-up firms. His procurement experience covers a wide range of goods and services and has exposed him to a wide array of challenges. He obtained his MBA from Indiana University and his JD from Fordham University Law School.
