George Furlong has more than 20 years of experience in the workers’ compensation arena and offers significant expertise in the provision of in-depth medical and disability management solutions with a focus on data analytics, as well as outcomes-based provider networks and specialty network solutions. He plays a key role in Sedgwick’s overall managed care initiatives and strategic planning. He is responsible for external client reporting, results analysis and benchmarking. Within the Sedgwick organization, George interacts with the executive team, operations leadership and program management resources to ensure the appropriate delivery and support of our managed care suite of services. He is also deeply engaged at the client level to maintain a balance of superior health care solutions for injured employees with best-in-class results. George earned a bachelor’s degree in management and finance from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
