Dominic has served as a career Firefighter/Paramedic for the Richmond Height Fire Department in Richmond Heights Ohio for the last 25 years where he also, in addition to his Firefighting and Paramedic duties, served as the department’s public education officer. He has been in the Fire/EMS service for 30 years. Dominic is also an EMS Coordinator and EMS Educator for The University Hospitals EMS Training and Disaster Preparedness Institute, an Institute of University Hospitals in Cleveland. The Institute serves as Medical Command for over 170 municipal and private EMS Services across 22 counties. His responsibilities include Pre-Hospital Protocol development, monthly continuing education course development, and Event Medicine. He is also a BLS, ACLS, PALS, ITLS, AMLS, and GEMS Instructor. Dominic is also an Adjunct Faculty at Cuyahoga Community College where he teaches EMT Basic and Anatomy /Physiology Classes. Dominic has had several articles published in JEMS Magazine and he was the Magazines “Hands On” Products Review Columnist for 3 years.
