David is responsible for all asset management and operations activities at Apex including commercial management, site and remote operations, engineering and analytics. He also oversees the Technology at Apex which includes a host of technical services to support projects in development including measurements, GIS, resource assessment, project design and other analysis and technical diligence in pre-construction. Lastly, he also oversees evaluation and procurement of appropriate turbine technologies for each project. His teams are a primary source of subject matter expertise in the optimization of projects at all stages for Apex. He has led technical aspects for wind projects for well over a decade and has supported the financing, construction and operation of several gigawatts in his career. Prior to Apex, David managed wind assessment at Acciona Energy and worked as a meteorologist and climate researcher at the Mount Washington Observatory. He received his BA from Pfeiffer University and his master’s degree from Appalachian State University.
