Dr. Ty Witten is currently the Crop Protection Lead for North America Technology Development & Agronomy, in St. Louis, which encompasses Monsanto’s crop protection technology. Most recently he served as the Cotton, Soybean, & Specialty Crop Systems Lead. Ty joined Monsanto in 2003 and has held numerous roles within Global Manufacturing, Technology Strategy, Biotechnology, and Global Regulatory groups during his tenure with the company. He is a native of Texas and was raised on a farm in the Texas High Plains. Ty received his Ph.D. in Crop Physiology at Texas A&M University.
