Mercer
Scott is a Principal and Senior Consultant in Mercer’s Health & Benefits practice in San Francisco, California. Scott has more than twenty years of industry experience with extensive experience in the large employer market. Scott’s work at Mercer primarily focuses on long-term benefit strategy, design and execution taking into consideration broad-based cross functional applications including finance, administration and operations. Scott also has expertise helping employers develop and administer leading edge insurance and Absence Management solutions that support their business needs. Prior to joining Mercer, Scott spent the last nine years with BridgeStreet Consulting Group. His focus at BridgeStreet was Welfare plan consulting for large employers with an emphasis on Life, Accident, and Disability funding, plan design and analytics. Scott also served as BridgeStreet’s Leave of Absence practice leader with a specialty focus on administration, policy and process. Before joining the consulting side of the business, Scott built his large client knowledge by acting as a National Account Sales Executive for Unum, focused on employer groups larger than 2,000 lives. In addition to his work at Unum, Scott was VP of Sales for Matrix Absence Management, delivering integrated Leave of Absence and Insurance Solutions to the marketplace nationwide.
Scott has a BA in Finance from California State University, Chico. He resides in Danville, CA with his wife Sharon.
