Debra Tomchek is a Vice President at ICF, where she develops innovative human capital solutions for federal agencies. Ms. Tomchek is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and currently serves as Industry Chair of the Evolving the Workforce Community of Interest for ACT-IAC. As a federal career senior executive, she held leadership positions as Executive Director of the Balanced Workforce Program, Department of Homeland Security, Director for Human Resources for the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of Justice, and Associate Director for Workforce Solutions (U.S. Mint, Treasury Department). She began her career as a civilian Army Intern, served as an HR Specialist in the Office of Personnel Management, and held senior leadership positions in Treasury and Defense. Ms. Tomchek is a graduate of Christopher Newport University (B.A.) and the College of William and Mary (M.Ed.).
