Dennis Oden is the Director of the Civil Rights Programs Division, in the Office of Civil Rights at the General Services Administration. Mr. Oden arrived at GSA in July 2015 and provides oversight and guidance for GSA's external civil rights programs, affirmative employment program, and the policy, reporting, and outreach aspects of OCR. Prior to his arrival at GSA, Mr. Oden began his Federal career in 2004, working through increasingly higher positions at the Department of Army, Defense Contract Management Agency, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Internal Revenue Service, and Department of Homeland Security, each emphasizing the role of statistics and demography in advancing civil rights. Focused on ensuring civil rights compliance and enforcement his entire career, Mr. Oden continues that dedication at GSA.
