Blake Stephens




Blake has been with Hanover (VA) Fire and EMS as a career firefighter for over 9 years and currently serves as an operational lieutenant. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University with a concentration in environmental science, and received his master’s degree in human resource management from the University of Richmond focusing on organizational behavior/development; high performance team development; and building leadership. He received the 2014 engine company of the year award; a 2014 Chief’s Choice Award; 2015 life saving award; and recently lead his crew to receive the 2016 Engine Company of the Year award. Blake is a graduate of the Virginia Fire Officer Academy.
