has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, a USCG Third Assistant Engineer’s License, a Masters Degree in Electric Power Engineering and MBA. He has 30 years of industry experience as a substation engineer and has been responsible for the creation of substation conceptual designs and equipment specifications of air and gas-insulated switchgear, project management and construction supervision, construction project design drawings, cost estimates, equipment specifications, bid analysis and procurement, witness testing of major equipment and facility commissioning. He was Manager of Transmission and Substation Engineering for The UI Company and is presently a Technical Executive with EPRI. He is a Senior Member in IEEE and the Chairman of the Gas-Insulated Substations Subcommittee. He is a Professional Engineer in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
