Steve Cheney is the General Director of Union Pacific Railroad’s Maintenance of Way Environmental Program. In this role, Steve works with Union Pacific's Engineering workgroups to ensure environmental compliance for all engineering activities and to provide environmental permitting support for capital projects, field operations, and incident responses. Steve has been with Union Pacific Railroad for 20 years and is Union Pacific's environmental lead for the Great Salt Lake bridge project.
