Otto Marquardt is The Area Manager for Major Projects at Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) and WE Energies. He joined WPSC In 1986 and is responsible for oversight of large Electric and Gas design and construction operations for all of the WPS and WE territories in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Otto's experience includes thirty three years in the utility industry performing distribution field engineering in operations, maintenance and construction, providing consulting for process improvement projects and initiatives, sponsoring and overseeing distribution inspection software projects, including new Outage Management project, Contractor Management System, and Distribution Inspection Project, managing periodic overhead, underground, and pole inspection programs, managing Line Clearance Program and contractors performing new Underground installation and oversight of all aspects of Electric Distribution Engineering and Fleet Services and management of field operations personnel. Recently Otto was provided the opportunity to oversee all the large distribution Gas and Electric distribution design and construction projects for all of the WPS and WE territories in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Possesses experience in Distribution field opersations, Distribution Engineering, Outage Management, Project Management, and gas and electric utility operations. Has management experience on both field and staff. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the State of Wisconsin.
