Boyd H. McGathey serves as Chief Operating Officer for WESROC Monitoring Solutions, an Independent Technologies Inc. company. McGathey brings over 29 years of energy logistics experience and knowledge in strategic business development, financial management, retail operations and sales management. McGathey’s extensive energy distribution, operational experience with delivery efficiency, safety, service quality, customer retention and profitability fits well with WESROC’s core objectives in providing remote monitoring solutions to their customers. Prior to joining WESROC, McGathey served as Chief Operating Officer of a national retail propane marketer. Prior to that, McGathey worked with Inergy Propane as the West Division President, a role he assumed following Inergy’s acquisition of Liberty Propane where he was a Partner and Chief Operating Officer. McGathey has been an active participant in the propane industry as a past member of the Iowa and Illinois Propane Gas Associations, NPGA Director at Large and PERC Council. Currently McGathey is the Chair Elect of the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission and serves on the Board of Directors for the Kansas City Crime Stoppers, SAFE, Platte County Sheriff’s Foundation and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
