A pioneer in the wind industry, my career began in 1981 where I co-designed and built a horizontal axis turbine for which successfully generated electrons to light a light bulb! In the spring of 1982, I began my commercial career as a turbine installer and field service technician. These were the days we climbed lattice towers without safety cables using rope lanyards and lived to tell about it. I received my formal education later in life from Greenville University, majoring in Organizational Business Leadership and Industrial Psychology. In the last 37 years, my career has been divided between 19 years on the OEM side and 18 years on the owners.
