Jenny Verner, Commercial Excellence Leader for Cargill Food and Bio-industrial Ingredients Enterprise, is responsible for strengthening FIBI’s customer facing capabilities. Verner joined Cargill in 1981 and has held various positions in commodity merchandising, transportation and logistics, general management, supply chain and sales throughout the United States. Most recently, she was President of Cargill Specialty Seeds & Oils. She has been primarily involved in Cargill’s flour milling, grain, oilseeds and food ingredient and manufacturing businesses. Verner serves on the Board of Directors for Minnwest Corporation, a financial services enterprise. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum where she serves as Chair for the Audit/Finance Committee. She serves on the Board of Women Venture and is a member of the Governance Committee. Previously, Verner has served on the CAP Agency Board of Directors as well as the Board of Trustees for her church. Verner has been recognized in a number of publications: • July 2001, she was named one of the “25 Most Influential People” in the supply chain field by Supply Chain Technology News • February 2002, she was named one of the “2002 Pros to Know” by iSource Magazine • November 2004, she was featured on the cover of “Minnesota Women’s Business” Magazine • May 2017, received “Women of Distinction” award from Girls Scouts, River Valley She received a BA in Economics and a BA in French from the University of Minnesota in 1981. She resides in Chaska, MN with her husband and has four grown children.
