Amy Wyatt, Ph.D., has worked in the cosmetic industry since 1993. Currently, she heads up CHANEL US Innovation and Research, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance. She is responsible for directing US Research and Innovation in makeup, skin care and toiletry categories; managing regulatory risk and compliance; and assuring high quality incoming product. She joined CHANEL in 2006 as executive director of the company's formulation laboratories. Prior to CHANEL, she worked for 13 years at Aveda Corp./The Estee Lauder Companies, where she was director of skin care and makeup. She is a very active member of the IFSCC and SCC industry associations, among others.
