John Wiebold
Vice President, One Global Sourcing – Global Sustainability and Grain Operations



John M. Wiebold is Vice President, One Global Sourcing – Global Sustainability and Grain Operations. John has responsibility for reducing General Mills’ raw material carbon footprint and advancing the company’s work to sustainably source 100% of its 10 priority raw materials by 2020. John also leads the General Mills Grain Operations team which buys all of the wheat, flour and oats used to make the company’s products. John joined General Mills in 2000 as an Assistant Sourcing Manager with responsibilities for commodity purchases. He moved through several commodity oriented sourcing roles including a role working on the Supply Chain Leadership team in the Meals Division. In 2008, John joined Grain Operations. In 2010, John assumed the leadership role for Grain Operations. Prior to joining General Mills, John spent eight years with the Archer Daniel Midland Co in various merchandising roles ranging from country elevator management to soybean meal merchandising. He lived and worked in several different North American markets including the mid-South and Mexico. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Management from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN.
