Debbie Mola Mickler

Disney's Horticulture


Debbie Mola Mickler is a New Jersey native and has been part of the Disney’s Horticulture team at the Walt Disney World Resort since 1989. Throughout her career, Debbie has worked in many aspects of Disney’s horticulture, including; Greens set design, interior plant maintenance and nursery production: including hanging baskets, topiary and specialty displays. Debbie currently works with Disney’s Horticulture Services Team; creating Guest Programs including coordination of Disney’s Horticulture Professional Internship program, plus, Debbie is the Programs Coordinator for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival at the Walt Disney World Resort. She is responsible for the development and coordination of programs for the event, including speakers and gardening information. Debbie is also involved with the FNGLA-Florida Nursery, Grower’s and Landscape Association, working with industry leaders to create educational experiences during the Landscape Show held each September. She was elected Education Chair in 2015. Debbie is called upon often to do presentations for garden clubs and special groups showcasing Disney’s Horticulture specialties. Through her love for plants and Disney’s Horticulture, she has developed a passion for Disney’s Horticulture Heritage.
