Harold Browning received a Ph.D. degree with the University of California, Riverside in 1981, with a major on entomology. Dr. Browning serves as the Chief Operations Officer of the Citrus Research and Development Foundation, an organization formed in 2009 to advance disease and production research and product development activities to insure the survival and competitiveness of Florida citrus growers through innovation. He previously served as the director of the University of Florida Citrus Research and Education Center and IFAS citrus program coordinator until 2011.
