Jhonna DeMarcky is a Reimbursement Director with the health care group of CliftonLarsonAllen. She has deep knowledge of Iowa Medicaid rate setting, compliance reviews of nursing facilities and specializes in reimbursement services for nursing facilities and home health agenices. Technical experience Jhonna was a senior manager for 11 years for the State of Iowa accounting contractor Myers & Stauffer (M&S) known as the Provider Cost Audit (PCA) department. Jhonna was a program manager for nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities with intellectual disabilities, residential care facilities and home health agencies. Jhonna is on the nursing facility cost report changes workgroup. She attended all meeting discussing and implanting the cost report changes. She reviewed changes and gave feedback to the IME group leader. She worked with the provider associations in training and education on the new report. She worked closely with the Iowa Alliance for Home Care in changing the cost based reimbursement methodology for Home Health agencies to the new LUPA payment method. She created the fiscal impact analysis to assist the legislature in approving the new methodology and appropriating the necessary funds. She also created the Private Duty Nursing EPSDT cost report.
