Matthias Li began his career with the Park in 1994, working his way up from Finance Director, Deputy Chief Executive to Chief Executive. Mr. Li was trained as a professional accountant and worked in the banking industry before joining Ocean Park. He completed International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions’ (IAAPA) Advanced Courses in Theme Park Management at Cornell University in 1995 and is an IAAPA Certified Attractions Executive (ICAE). He is active in the attractions industry. He is currently an IAAPA Board of Director, Executive and Finance Committee Member, Strategic Planning Steering Committee Member and the Asia Pacific Regional Advisory Committee Chairman. He is also the Vice Chairman of China Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (CAAPA). He was awarded the “Leader of the China Theme Park Industry” by the CAAPA in 2015.
