Steve Szymanski is currently an advisor to the global electric power and renewable energy industry, with a focus on financing. He has more than 35 years of experience in electric power and equipment finance. Previously he was International Sales Manager at Caterpillar Power Finance in Singapore, arranging financing for Caterpillar’s power generation customers throughout Asia. At Cat Finance he also held positions as Regional Syndications Manager, Sales Manager for the Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines territory, and Director of Asian Project Development for Cat Power Ventures. Prior to Caterpillar, he filled various positions in international finance, proposals and contracts at GE Power Systems and later as a power project manager and business development director for Sumitomo Corporation, with assignments in New York and Jakarta. He has experience in deals won in 24 countries on 6 continents. Steve has a management degree from Bentley University, Massachusetts (USA). He is based in Singapore.
