I am a retired Deputy Chief with 33 years in the New York City Fire Dept. I was the incident commander at hundreds of incidents and have published numerous magazine articles as well as the book "Notes From the Fireground", a memoir about my experiences in the FDNY. I have lectured at conferences throughout the country and am an adjunct instructor for Keane University and the National Fire Academy.
