Mehrdad Vahabi (mehrdad.vahabi@sce.com) has been part of the Southern California Edison, Automation/Communications group within the Advanced Technology department since 2011. He is project manager for next generation of SCE’s Substation Automation System (SA-3) and technical lead of the next generation of SCE's Human Machine Interface (HMI-3) project as well. He has more than 12 years’ experience in engineering, researching, designing, sales, and project management for in Substation Automation, SCADA, Energy Management System, and Distribution Management System projects, both nationally and internationally.
