K12 Instructional Technology Specialist
Woodstock Elementary School (Ga.)
Kristen Brooks is a K12 Instructional Technology Specialist in the Cherokee County School District, an Apple Distinguished Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator, PBS Digital Innovator and a teacher advisor for OSMO, BrainPOP, Seesaw and CodeSpark. She is a veteran teacher of elementary education for 24 years with the last 15 years specifically in Educational Technology. Brooks created the first K5 Technology Lab and K5 iPad Lab in her district. She loves empowering teachers to create standards-based lesson plans incorporating innovative technology. Her educational mantra for students is always to "Create more than you Consume".
