Catherine Ratliff
Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Associate Professor
University of Virginia
Dr. Ratliff is a PhD prepared geriatric nurse practitioner at the University of Virginia Health System where she manages patients with acute and chronic wounds in the outpatient setting. She teaches at the school of nursing where she is a clinical associate professor and previously was the program director for a Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Program. She is the ostomy section editor for the Journal of Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing. She has spoken at many national meetings on the topics of ostomy and wound care as well as key publications in the areas of peristomal skin complications, medical adhesive related skin injuries (MARSI), and moisture-associated skin damage (MASD).
