As both President of JCJ Architecture, and owner of an independent hotel on the Connecticut shoreline, Peter Stevens brings a unique perspective to projects and can relate to clients as a fellow owner. With more than three decades of experience working with Tribal Nations and independent developers in a project leadership role, Peter’s expertise is a proven asset to a wide-range of projects. Peter initiated JCJ Architecture’s involvement in the gaming and hospitality market more than 20 years ago. Since that time, this side of JCJ’s practice has grown to include hundreds of projects across the nation and internationally. Peter is committed to building strong, lasting relationships with Tribal clients and partners across the Nation, and has created an environment at JCJ that prioritizes this level of dedication. Peter is well known throughout the real estate development community and has been selected on numerous occasions to give presentations to professional groups regarding the market feasibility and economic impact of large-scale hospitality, gaming, entertainment and mixed-use development projects. He has served as a consultant to the State of Connecticut’s Department of Economic and Community Development, playing a major role in the solicitation of private sector investments/developments under aggressive public-private-partnership structures and incentives. Peter has played a key role in JCJ’s efforts to support our partners in Indian Country through substantial investment, participation in fundraising events, establishing mentor/mentee relationships as well as JCJ’s Native American Internship program.
