Ann Tescher is the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Surgical/Trauma/CV Surgery ICU as well as the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Unit and the Vascular Wound Center at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. She is certified in critical-care nursing (CCRN) and as an Advanced Practice Nurse Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) through the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and as a Certified Wound Care Nurse through the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board. Dr. Tescher is a graduate of Vanderbilt University (BSN), Duke University (MSN), and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (PhD). She has extensive experience in critical care nursing, with a particular interest in wound healing. She is a Fellow in the American College of Critical Care Medicine, and is a member of the Board of Directors of NPUAP. She is a retired veteran of the US Navy Reserve-Nurse Corps.
