Micheal Dal Bello is the Senior Vice President Real Estate for Alberta Investment Management Corp. (AIMCo), a Province of Alberta crown corporation responsible for the investments of 32 pension, endowment and government funds totaling over $104B in assets. Micheal leads a team of 24 individuals responsible for managing a portfolio of direct and indirect real estate investments valued at $18.1B. AIMCo has an ongoing build core to hold program focused on expanding its Canadian holdings of multi-family residential and industrial properties. The foreign program is an opportunistic investment strategy active in the U.S., U.K. and Europe. Prior to joining AIMCo, Michael was an Investment Principal with CIBC Development Corporation engaged in strategic asset management and new project acquisitions. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and Institute of Corporate Directors designation.
