Vicki Hawarden, CMP, PGP, has over 25 years of experience as an association executive, including extensive roles in meetings, education, standards development and governance. Before joining AGI: The Aspen Group, LLC as a governance consultant, Ms. Hawarden served for 5 years as President and CEO of the International Association of Venue Managers and the IAVM Foundation. In that role, she was instrumental in nearly doubling the membership, developing new programs, and in turning the association around from significant deficits to stable contributions to reserves. Ms. Hawarden’s background also includes executive roles with the International Association of Exhibitions and Events and Meeting Professionals International.
