A 40-year veteran of the leisure and entertainment industry, Dan Aylward brings a wealth of executive and development experience to his role as Corporate Director of Crayola Experience Operations. During his career, Mr. Aylward has developed a reputation as a hands-on executive with a track record for results. Mr. Aylward has consistently demonstrated his ability to successfully manage hundreds of millions of dollars (USD) of capital investment on time and on budget. Mr. Aylward has a wealth of international market experience, from North America to Europe to Asia. During the 80’s and 90’s, Aylward managed significant turnaround projects in some of the most demanding markets in the country as well as serving as Executive Vice President of Six Flags, European Division. From 2010 to 2012, Aylward worked with ProFun Management Group on the development of the Suzanne Mubarak Family Park in Cairo, Egypt, and the Longmont Aladdin’s Castle property in Shenyang, China. Additionally, through Worldwide Leisure Management, Aylward has provided operational management and support for operations in Missouri, Arkansas and Kentucky. For the past four years, Dan has worked with Crayola in branding and developing Crayola Experience. Dan’s involvement with Crayola Experience highlights the products of the American icon, includes a total reconfiguration of operations, providing guidance on design and construction elements and training of the operation’s team members.
