Angela Duell, MS, OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist and the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Director at Parker University in Dallas, Texas. Over her 19-year career, Mrs. Duell worked for many years as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and Occupational Therapist (OTR) in a variety of settings servicing adults. Her patient care experience includes Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acute Care at a Level I trauma center, Sub-acute rehab, Long-term care/Skilled Nursing facility, Adult Day Healthcare, Home Healthcare, and Long-term Acute Care hospital. In addition to her clinical experience, Mrs. Duell taught Adult Physical Disabilities in Occupational Therapy at the University at Buffalo and has held the position of Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Duell has established and implemented Student Fieldwork programming and Nursing Rehabilitation programs. Topics of research include Modified Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy program with Erie County Medical Center Outpatient clinic and Fall Prevention with Community Dwellers living in Erie County, Visiting Nurses Association and University at Buffalo. In 2015, Mrs. Duell established the Parker University Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
