Morgan Busch

Morgan David Busch is currently an Executive Strategic Partner for Intermountain Healthcare. In this role Morgan serves as part of the leadership team for Intermountain’s 23 hospitals. Morgan earned his master’s degree in Public Administration in 1981 from Brigham Young University. After graduation he joined Intermountain Healthcare’s Planning Department. He served as a planner in both corporate and hospital roles. In 1989 Morgan started working in Intermountain’s Rural Region. During that time, he planned and built four new hospitals in Burley, Idaho; Heber City, Utah; Cedar City, Utah; and Park City, Utah. From 2006 to 2014 he served as the operations officer for the Rural Region. The Rural Region consisted of seven hospitals in Utah and southern Idaho. Since 2014 Morgan has served in system leadership roles in strategic planning, supporting system service lines in Women’s and Newborn, Cardiovascular, and Behavioral Health. Morgan is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He has participated on ACHE committees and boards, both in Utah and nationally. He is married to the former Diane Walker of Santa Cruz, California. They have two sons, three daughters and ten grandchildren.
