Andrea received a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen; he is specialist in Independent Power and Desalination Projects (IWPP), developed, financed constructed and operated through concession or utility outsourcing contract models. Since 2009 is holding the position of Senior Manager for Business Development at ACWA Power and has worked at the development of several IWPP projects in the region and internationally. He started his career as process engineer at Alfa Laval in Denmark, holding later the position of global sales director for thermal desalination projects. He has worked for Hydranautics as project director and Vatech Wabag as Vice President global sales. Before joining ACWA Power, he was for several years business development director for the MENA region at Black & Veatch. He is member of PowerGen Middle East technical committee and IDA. Andrea is based in Dubai (UAE) is married and has two children.
