John F. Dizor is the Director of the EH&S Operations Technology Center for The Dow Chemical Company. In his role he has responsibility for Dow’s management systems related to preventing occupational injuries and illnesses. John was born in the Philippines and grew up in a military family, relocating often. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida, in 1990 and is a graduate of the Thunderbird International Consortium Program. John is also a Certified Safety Professional and a certified Six Sigma Green Belt Project Leader. During his 27 years at Dow he has held roles in Research & Development, Manufacturing, and EH&S. The last 19 years have been in EH&S in a variety of site, business, and corporate roles. John is a current member of the American Society of Safety Engineers. John and his wife Roxanne have four children and live outside Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
