Mr. Parkhe is an engineer at DNV GL where he is responsible for performing wind turbine power performance testing and acoustic noise testing. He also designs meteorological measurement systems for wind and solar energy projects. He is a technical resource on turbine performance and wind measurement including anemometry and nacelle-mounted lidar, and has performed research for presentation at major wind energy conferences on both technologies. In addition, he has authored specifications for wind resource assessment and SCADA meteorological masts, state of the market reports on wind turbine technologies, and recommended practices for PV plant power capacity testing. His qualifications include an MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on simulations and experiments of boundary layer aerodynamics and heat transfer.
