With over 17 years of experience in energy spanning from sales, to construction, to service, Ms. Montanez is currently Director of Regional Support for Vestas. Her department is responsible for the technical support to construction and service of over 25 GW of Wind Energy in North America. Previously, she was responsible for the application engineering or turbine sales and product management at Vestas where she oversaw the sale of over 10 GW of Wind Power Plants and the introduction of more than 10 new turbine product offerings in North America. Prior to Vestas, Margaret was a Technical Advisor at GE Power Systems, supporting the Installation and Maintenance of Gas Turbine Generators in the Western Region. Margaret received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Oregon.
