With over 15 collective years both in the private and government and public sectors, Ms. Katie Wilson is currently serving as a Senior Manager at CohnReznick, LLP. She began her career in 2007 to 2012 and again 2017 through 2021 as a Financial Statement Auditor for Kearney & Company. Additionally, she continued her career as a consultant performing audit readiness support for Federal Agencies at MorganFranklin Consulting in 2012 to 2015, leaving to further her professional experience as a government employee at the Defense Security Service agency as an Accountant. Katie specializes in Federal Reporting, Auditing, and Accounting focused on preparation of Financial Statements, Audit Readiness, Audit Response, and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting, Operations, and Systems. Her range of clients consist of Federal agencies within the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Intelligence Community, Defense Health Agency (DHA), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), DoD Inspector General (IG), Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and with the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC) contracts. Katie is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA), and is trained in the Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogating. She enjoys a good mystery book, playing the piano and flute in her spare time, huge Steelers fan, and spending time with her friends and family, husband, five year old daughter, and her three “fur-babies” (cat, miniature dachshund, and great dane).
