In his current role as the Regional Director of Facilities Management and Support Services at Allina Health, he is directly responsible for the overall leadership, planning, and operations for the North and East regions of Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. This encompasses over 90 locations/facilities and 1.4 million square feet of the 150 facilities of the more than 2.5 million square feet within the Allina Health non hospital portfolio. Mr. Namyst is a graduate of Northwestern University, Saint Paul, MN, where he received a BS degree in Business Management and has 30 years of healthcare related experience. Allina Health facilities portfolio includes more than 100 clinics and rehabilitation locations, 12 hospitals, 15 pharmacies, specialty care centers and specialty medical services that provide home care, senior transitions, hospice care, home oxygen and medical equipment, and emergency medical transportation services. He oversees a majority of the building automations controls and energy management systems. This includes oversight of mechanical systems, data centers, and critical environmental controls system for operating suites, equipment sterilizations departments and many others. Mr. Namyst ensures a functional, aesthetically pleasing and safe patient care environment, including compliance with The Joint Commission’s Environment of Care and Life Safety chapter at applicable sites. He is accountable for ensuring compliance with applicable local, state and federal regulations. Mr. Namyst is responsible for effective resource utilization, process improvement, and long term strategic planning, lease negotiations, space allocation/use, construction and renovation, capital spending, and business development.
